Georgia top state in electric vehicle sales

Sep 15, 2014 - By Urvaksh Karkaria Georgia has accelerated to the top state for electric vehicles sales, powered by a hefty state tax incentive. One of out about every 60 new cars registered in the Peach State, in the first six months, was an all-electric vehicle, according to InsideEVs. Electric vehicles accounted for 1.60 percent of all vehicles registered in the state, according to data from market research firm HIS Automotive.
